To make sure a bodysuit fits well and is not see-through, look at four things: fabric density, closure, neckline and size. For everyday looks choose double-layered reinforced knit and a snap closure with two levels. Save mesh for the evening or for layered outfits. And pick your size by your measurements, not by the letter you usually wear.

Why a bodysuit if you already have a top
A bodysuit fastens at the bottom, so it stays tucked into jeans, trousers or a skirt. You do not have to fix it every half hour, and the silhouette stays smooth, with no creases at the waist. That is why a bodysuit works so well with high-waisted bottoms, a blazer and a midi skirt.
Which fabric is not see-through
Density and the number of layers tell you more about transparency than the colour does.
Double-layered reinforced knit. Our basic bodysuits are made from viscose and polyester (60/40) in two layers. The fabric holds its shape, is not see-through even in milk white and does not crease during the day. Examples: Rounded neckline bodysuit and Halter neck bodysuit.
Mesh over a knit base. Light stretch mesh on top with a knit bandeau underneath. It looks airy but is not see-through where it should not be. Examples: Asymmetrical bodysuit and Mesh bandeau bodysuit with shoulder draping.
Unlined mesh. Polyester with elastane (95/5), designed to be semi-sheer. Wear it with a bralette, a top or under a cape or blazer. Example: Sheer bodysuit with decorative lines.

Closure: what to look for
A bodysuit fastens with snaps at the bottom. Check how many levels the closure has. Many of our styles have two, so you can adjust the length to your height and torso. If a bodysuit pulls down or bunches up at the stomach, switching to the other snap level usually solves it.

Neckline and sleeves for your purpose
With jeans and a blazer. Round or oval neckline and long sleeves: Basic bodysuit, Oval neckline bodysuit.
For the evening. Asymmetry, halter, draping: Bodysuit with an asymmetric round neckline, Wrap bodysuit with gathers.
Instead of a long-sleeve top. A long-sleeve bodysuit is worn like a long-sleeve top but never comes untucked. All these styles are in the Long Sleeves collection.
How to find your size
Our sizes run from XS to L following EU standards. The most accurate way is our size calculator: choose the "bodysuits/dresses" category, enter your measurements and get a recommendation.
Most fabrics are stretchy. If you are between two sizes, the larger one gives a relaxed fit and the smaller one a closer, more sculpted fit. During pregnancy we recommend going 1–2 sizes up from your usual size.
How to care for a bodysuit so it keeps its shape
Wash at 30°C or below with a gentle detergent and no bleach, and dry flat in the shade. Wash bodysuits in rich colours such as burgundy or blue separately before the first wear: the fabric may slightly stain light items.
In short: a checklist before you buy
- For every day choose double-layered knit, for the evening mesh works too.
- Check the description for a knit base under the mesh.
- Look for a two-level closure if your torso is long or short.
- Choose the neckline and sleeves for what you will wear it with.
- Check your size with the calculator, not with another brand's size.
